Welcome to the Interlocking Applications home page. Interlocking
Applications is a software consulting and web development firm run by a
steely-eyed professional with an unrelenting commitment to get projects
out the door on time.
I specialize in Windows-based development using the latest Microsoft tools
and technologies.
I am no longer accepting contract work
I have recently consented to go to work full-time for one of my clients,
so I am no longer seeking contract work. Thanks to everyone for their
interest, and special thanks to my former clients. I'm always available to
fix, maintain or explain anything I did.
One of the most frequent questions I hear is, "Why 'Interlocking
Applications' for a name?" The short answer is that I envision the things my
company does like the cogs in a watch. Each is different, but they all work
together to produce a useful result. (I'm very hung up on "useful.")
Interestingly, I hit on the imagery of a watch later in the company's
history. My first vision for it was a zipper. It interlocks; it's very
useful but, sadly, using a zipper for a company logo seemed to send a wrong
message. Recently, a
graphic artist took that idea and ran with it, creating the logo at the
top of this page.
