digital odd-jobs®

What are digital odd-jobs®? These are the short, challenging, computer-related jobs that take anywhere from a day to a few months. Some require special skills that are not needed in-house full time. Some require just a few hours of a highly skilled person's time, but most people of that calibre won't consider such a small job. Digital odd-jobs are clean and simple; you hire me; I invoice you for time and materials. No elaborate negotiations or third parties necessary.

Examples include:

Short-term consulting Many companies have short-term projects that aren't sufficient to employ a contractor for more than a couple of weeks. Or they have a piece of impenetrable code written by someone who moved on ages ago.

I welcome this kind of work because I need a cash flow while I get my business up and running. Please review my resume and see if I have the skills to be of service to you.

eBay brokerage If you have things you'd like to sell at auction, but don't want to get involved in the process of being a seller, let Interlocking Applications handle the auction for you. Rates vary depending on the item(s) you have to sell. (Face it, most companies have a closet full of "stuff" -- old test equipment, parts, tools and the like that will never be used again and yet take up square footage to store. Let the items that are of value go to someone else; let them pay shipping instead of you paying disposal fees -- everyone wins.)

Product Photography High quality digital photographs for use on auction services, websites, etc. Photoshop post-production available. Our potable studio can come to you. My rate is $65/hour.

Sometimes things are just better in audio. Interlocking Applications can develop podcasts or other online audio applications.
