Meet the Merchants: Think Geek |
|
So What's With The Article, Tabe? |
I'm very happy to announce that we have an affiliate relationship with a
new merchant: ThinkGeek.com In a former life, I was a software engineer. I forget how I stumbled across Think Geek, but I do know that I had a never-ending supply of bizarre cube-goodies and t-shirts that left people scratching their heads. And it's for the t-shirts that I claim they're Provocative Clothing material. After all, we don't stand for simply provoking lust (though that is a good thing) we also stand for provoking thought. Along with t-shirts, they also have a great array of little gizmos and doohickeys that are fun in the office or make good gifts for the kids. (I got my boys a set of smoke-ring shooters last Christmas and they were a huge hit with them when they were able to get them away from the adults.) Now, if you are a member of the lunatic fringe of computing, then you'll find gear that will help you soup up your PC and feed your urge to upgrade stuff for no particular reason. But I like 'em for the toys and clothes. (And Steph, our daredevil test model, has a "Chicks Dig UNIX" t-shirt -- See below.) As far as being a merchant is concerned, I've personally done business with them and found them to be good people. I got an order confirmation immediately, tracking info when my order shipped and everything I've ordered from them arrived in good shape and worked as described. I'm not hesitant at all about recommending them as a cool place to visit. So follow one of the links to Think Geek and when you see something you like, don't be afraid to try these guys out.
